From the NY State Thruway, (I-90)
Get off Thruway at exit 34, (Canastota), turn right heading north on Rt. 13. Follow Rt. 13 across Rt.31 and continue on past Verona Beach, over Canal bridge and into the Village of Sylvan Beach. Rt. 13 becomes Main Street. Continue straight past 30th St. and turn left onto Maclanthan Ave.. Maclanthan curves right and becomes Lakeshore. Our house is half way down on the left; grey with white trim and the number 7315 is by the door.
From Utica and Rome
Take Rt. 49 west through Rome. Continue west on 49 at the Y intersection with Rt. 69. Follow Rt. 49 heading west and south past The Erie Canal Village and The Fort Rickey Children’s Discovery Zoo to the blinking light at The New London Store. Turn right and continue to follow Rt. 49 west nine miles to Rt. 13. Turn left on Rt. 13 heading south. At the bottom of the long hill, just past the 30 mph sign, see Lakeshore on your right. Veer onto Lakeshore and continue going south. Our house will be half way along on the right. It is grey with white trim and the number 7315 is by the door.
From Syracuse
Take I-81 north to exit 30 at Cicero. Follow Rt. 31 east to Rt. 13. Turn left onto Rt. 13 and head north through Verona Beach. Cross over the canal. Rt. 13 becomes Main Street, Sylvan Beach. Continue north past 30th St.. Turn left onto Maclanthan. Swings right and becomes Lakeshore. Halfway down on the left. Grey and white with number 7315 by the door.
The Arsenal House

Driving Directions:
The main east-west arterial through Rome is called Erie Blvd. Routes 49, 46 and 69 all run together on Erie Blvd. as they pass through Rome.
West Dominick Street parallels Erie Blvd., one block north. So, once you are on Erie Blvd., simply jog one block north to find W. Dominick Street. The blocks are numbered consecutively from the center of town so the Arsenal house at 514, is five blocks out from Fort Stanwix.
There is parking on the street and also behind The Arsenal House.
